QUICK SUMMARY:
The Q36.5 Dottore Pro Summer Gloves are super lightweight performance cycling gloves designed for hot weather riding and long hours on the bike. I tested them during endurance rides in Dubai heat. What stood out immediately was how minimal they feel. They almost disappear once you’re riding, while still giving enough grip and comfort for longer sessions. Almost no numbness on the hands.
WHAT WE LIKED:
* Extremely breathable and comfortable in very hot weather
* Thin material gives a direct feeling on the handlebars
* No bulky padding, which actually reduced hand pressure for me
WHAT TO CONSIDER:
* Riders who like heavily padded gloves may find them too minimal
* The fit is quite performance-oriented and snug at first
WHO IT’S FOR:
* Cyclists and triathletes riding in warm climates
* Athletes who prefer a more natural handlebar feel
* Long-distance riders wanting lightweight comfort
WHEN TO USE IT:
* Summer endurance rides and indoor
* Race-specific sessions and long climbs
FINAL THOUGHTS:
I’ve tried many summer gloves over the years, and most are either too padded, too hot, or start feeling bulky after a while. The Dottore Pro gloves are very different. They feel extremely light and almost like a second skin once you’re riding. At first, I wondered whether there was enough padding, especially for longer rides, but surprisingly my hands actually felt less tired because there were no thick pressure points inside the glove. The grip stays secure even when sweating heavily, which matters a lot in Dubai conditions. The Ice Grey colour also looks elegant and clean. Matches most outfits. Overall, these gloves feel premium and well thought out, especially for riders who prefer performance and comfort over extra cushioning. If you love thick gel gloves, these may not be for you. But if you want something breathable, minimal, and very comfortable in hot weather, they are definitely worth trying.
ATHLETE INSIGHT:
"After a few minutes, I honestly forgot I was even wearing gloves - and that’s probably the best compliment."
