About Caroline Bridges

Raised between the US and UK, having spent 5 years in China and now based in Dubai, she is a triathlete with a story that spans continents and cultures. From NCAA swimming to starting triathlon in China, she’ve built a life fueled by passion, purpose, and performance.

Her journey

After finishing her collegiate swimming career, Caroline moved to Shanghai to study Mandarin and begin her professional journey. It was there that she first discovered endurance sport. In 2019, she bought her first road bike for the equivalent of $500 and quickly fell in love with cycling.

She signed up for her first Ironman 70.3, but when the race was canceled due to COVID, she decided not to wait. Alongside a small group of friends, they've planned and completed their own full-distance Ironman - a defining moment that deepened her commitment to the sport.
