Torch Run – Night (Trail) Run
Saturday 10th September 2022 (full moon night) – after sunset
When summer heat is scorching there is only one way of running – at night. With fading light the world looks different especially in the outdoors, colors are facing and turn into grey shapes only which brings a new challenge and excitement. Adding a dramatic environment like the mountains and an abandoned quarry promises to let you adrenaline pump.
We have set a course of approx. 5-6km at XQuarry in the beautiful Faya Mountains just 1hr drive from the cities of Dubai and Sharjah. The route will be on wide gravel tracks as well as short sections on single trail with climbs and drops and in some areas close to the cliffs (still far enough away to be safe). To help you navigate through the night we will put up fires as beacons along the way. It’s mandatory for each participant to bring a head torch or hand troch. We will have marshals along the way as well as Glow sticks every 50m.

Gates open 7:00pm, Race start 8:00pm – cut of time 9:45pm
Be checked in at least 20 minutes before the start of your race. There is NO on-the-day registration.
Price giving 10:00pm
Venue closing 11:00pm all participants must leave the venue

There is ample parking on site and the venue can be reach with any vehicle. There enough WC but there are no shower facilities for this event.
