Wadi Dayqah Challenge 240/140 KM. تحدي وادي ضيقة ٢٤٠/ ١٤٠كم
A scenic route taking you from Muscat to the Wadi Dayqah Dam and back.

This is a unique, non-competitive cycling challenge where cyclists have an opportunity to push their limits riding through stunning eastern part of Al Hajar Mountains which extend for 700 kilometers through UAE and Oman. The route follows the gap that separates Amerat to Quriyat mountain series subdivision of Eastern Hajar called "Saih Hatat Cumintion"which makes it cyclable whilst surrounded by mountain peaks.

Route:

240 km route with 2300m of vertical gains is very diverse and combines all needs for road cyclists: starting at the sea level in Muscat, steady as well as rolling sections with a few punchy climbs, highest point at ~400m at the far corner of Arqi loop, return point at the Wadi Dayqa Dam, famous Quriyat old road climb with 240m elevation gain and more including a quality tarmac surface all throughout.
