This isn't your typical hike. We're not here to convince you—if you want an easy, breezy trek, this event isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for something tough, something that will push your limits, something that is truly rewarding then welcome to the 2025 edition of the Skyline Ridge Hike in Hatta.

This one off event with its rugged 8.5 km route will test your strength, stamina, and spirit as you tackle the steep 500m of ascents and descents. Hike along Striding Edge and through Windy Pass up onto the Skyline Ridge. Along the way, you'll be treated to jaw-dropping views of the mighty Hajar mountains.
Trust us, this isn’t just a hike, it’s an experience.

The distinctive route continues by taking you down from its high point of 675m and guides you east through the iconic Hatta Sign before descending back into Wadi Hub.

While you'll need to be self-sufficient on the route, be sure to take advantage of our feed and rest stations, where you can refresh with ice-cold water and a selection of dried fruits.

Start anytime from 7am onwards, with the last start time at 12:00pm.

Hike at your own pace but be prepared for between 2.5 to 4 hours of continuous effort.

No need to worry about getting lost or how much further you have to go—the whole route is clearly signposted, with scenic rest stops, feed stations, and plenty of photo opportunities.

Early bird registrations close on January 31st for just 100 AED. From February 1st onwards Regular entry is 150 AED. All participants will receive a limited-edition commemorative T-shirt and medal.
