Khalifa University and Abu Dhabi Cycling Club are proud to present the 4th edition of the Khalifa University Century Challenge taking place on Saturday February 1, 2025.

This event is not a race, but a challenging and scenic long-distance ride aimed at completing the full course. Participants will have the choice to start from either Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, or Dubai's Al Qudra Track, with check-in starting at 4:30 am at both locations. Riders will begin their journey at 6:00 am in Abu Dhabi and 6:15 am in Dubai, with the goal of reaching the finish line at the Mecure Hotel on Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain, by midday.

On the morning, check-in will be at either Al Quadra's Last Exit at or Khalifa University grounds Abu Dhabi from 4:30am and the ride will begin at 6:00am in Abu Dhabi and 6:30am in Dubai, finishing at the Mercure Hotel on Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain around midday.

The Abu Dhabi route is 190km starting from Khalifa University, whilst the Dubai route is approximately 175km with an approximate total ascent of 1400m including the infamous Jebel Hafeet climb. There will be 4 feed stations along the route, along with neutral support vehicles carrying water and nutrition.

This route mixes the modern inner city views with rolling sand dunes out towards Sweihan (where both the Abu Dhabi and Dubai groups will merge), into the garden oasis of Al Ain city and finally the mountain of Jebel Hafeet, promising breathtaking scenery and a memorable ride.
