Sharjah Sports Council, in cooperation with Endurance Sports Services, is presenting to you as part of its community races the of Dhaid Fort Desert Run in the city of Al Dhaid in the Emirate of Sharjah. Dhaid Fort, (Also known as Al Hisn Dhaid) is a restored C18th fortification in the city of Dhaid, Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. It has long been an important stronghold for the Ruling families of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah and a key strategic asset in maintaining a historical Qawasim dominance of the inland areas of the Northern Emirates.

We offer you a unique running experience through the sands of the city of Al Dhaid, where the start will be from Dhaid Fort Desert Run, and the path consists of a group of dunes that require you to cross them amid camels, Ghaf trees and other desert shrubs, by choosing one of the race distances. The starting and ending point will be at the same location.
