The Arthritis Patients Friends Association is pleased to invite you to participate in its 12th Charity Race, which will be held to support arthritis patients and raise awareness about this disease, its symptoms, and treatment options. This year’s race includes a variety of distances suitable for all age groups and physical abilities, starting from the half marathon (21.1 km) to 10 km, 5 km, and a 2.5 km distance, as well as a 1 km walking distance for children. The race is open to everyone, regardless of physical abilities, offering an opportunity for each person to contribute to this humanitarian initiative and support arthritis patients. The winners of the race will be honored with valuable cash prizes, as we celebrate the spirit of giving and solidarity in our community. The Arthritis Patients Friends Association is a voluntary social organization, emanating from the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and is chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and the supreme president of the Council. The association was established in 2008 to promote health awareness within the community to prevent joint diseases and ensure physically, mentally, and socially healthy individuals.
