DOES IT LEAVE A WHITE CAST?

There's a limited white cast, which is normal for mineral sunscreens. The micronised mineral formula reduces this compared to traditional zinc-heavy products, leaving a natural matte finish. Blend it in thoroughly for the best result.

DOES IT WORK STRAIGHTAWAY OR DO I NEED TO WAIT?

It works immediately. Mineral filters sit on the skin's surface and are already in position the moment you apply them. There's no activation window. Apply it, get outside.

IS IT SAFE FOR BABIES AND YOUNG CHILDREN?

The Mineral Sun Shield is suitable for children from 6 months up. Because mineral filters can be less irritating and sit on the skin's surface, mineral sunscreen is the recommended choice for very young or sensitive skin.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO REAPPLY?

Reapply regularly during sun exposure, and always after swimming, sweating heavily, or towelling off. Mineral filters are physically removed by water and activity, so protection reduces over time. Keeping the tin to hand and topping up matters. A small amount reapplied consistently outperforms a heavy initial application that isn't topped up.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS AND THE SPF 50+ SUN GEL?
