SIZING TIPS

HOW TO FIND YOUR SIZE

HOW TO FIND YOUR SIZE

Use our handy size finder to pick the perfect wetsuit size. Simply select your gender, then enter your height (ft / in) and your weight (lbs). Click GET MY SIZE for your results. RACE FIT will be a tight fitting wetsuit that will give you the best overall performance, but may be challenging to get into. COMFORT FIT will be a more comfortable, easier to don wetsuit, but may not offer the fastest performance.

Men: The "T" (Tall) sizes add length across the torso, arms and legs. These sizes work best for a taller, lean body type.

Women: The "A" (Athena) sizes offer a larger size for a shorter frame, allowing women with more curves to comfortably find a good size.

If your height and weight do not correspond to one size, use these guidelines for sizing up or down:
If you're taller than the recommended sizes for your weight, choose the closest size based on height.
If you're shorter than the recommended sizes for your weight, choose the closest size based on weight.

COMFORT VS PERFORMANCE

Our wetsuits are meant to fit like a second skin aka tight. A performance fit will be compressive and tight and may feel uncomfortable on land. If you are near the top of a size recommendation and prefer a more comfortable fit, size up.

REACTION

If your height and weight fall right between two sizes we recommend sizing down as the added side flex and fit panels can make this suit feel roomier.

ALLIANCE & GLIDE

The Alliance and Glide wetsuit do not come in every wetsuit size. If your recommended size is not listed, please choose the best size based on your weight. For the Alliance, if you are near the top of a recommended size, we recommend sizing up as the front zipper makes the suit feel tighter in the chest and can be more difficult to get on and off.

KEY FEATURES

CONQUER THE COLD

Cold water won’t slow you down; neither should your wetsuit. The Thermal Reaction is built for athletes who demand speed, agility, and warmth in equal measure. Engineered with premium Yamamoto neoprene and a mid-weight zirconium jersey lining, the Thermal Reaction delivers fast-drying insulation, exceptional flexibility, and the thermal protection you need to push your limits in frigid conditions.

Designed for total freedom in your stroke, the Thermal Reaction features our unique single-piece shoulder panel; seamless, unrestricted, and built for fluid, natural movement. Ultra-flexible neoprene in the arms eliminates resistance, ensuring pure power through every phase of your swim.

When the water temperature drops, the Thermal Reaction keeps you going, through every chilling training session and cold water plunge at race start. In the right gear, it's easy to conquer the cold.

KEY FEATURES

1 MAXIMUM WARMTH

The thermal "zirconium" liner maximizes warmth with wool-like performance that offers more body heat retention, faster drying and a cozy feel. All in all it keeps you warmer in colder water than standard wetsuit jersey lining.

2 SEAMLESS SHOULDERS

One single piece of 39 cell 1.5mm Yamamoto neoprene dramatically improves flexibility and reduces fatigue throughout your entire stroke. Combined with 1.5mm underarm panels, you'll find no resistance while swimming regardless of whether your arms are up, down or anywhere in between.

3 OPTIMIZED BUOYANCY

5mm thick core and hips transitions down to 4mm in the lower legs to maximize your efficiency with a more streamlined body position.

4 NATURAL ROTATION HIP DRIVE

Building off the Helix design, we've narrowed the center panel on the upper body and extended the thinner, 3mm, side panels through the hips to maximize your natural body rotation in order to generate more power, resulting in more speed with less effort.

5 REACTIVE STRETCH TECHNOLOGY

2mm neoprene with high stretch jersey offers greater mobility and reach throughout the shoulders and back, reducing fatigue and increasing distance per stroke.

6 ULTRA-THIN ARMS

Premium, ultra-thin, 1.5mm neoprene in the arms provides flexibility, comfort and speed.

7 PREMIUM MATERIALS

The highest quality, SCS coated, Yamamoto smooth-skin neoprene offers excellent flexibility and durability. We pair this with a high quality, thermal zirconium jersey lining in order to maximize warmth without sacrificing your freedom of movement.

8 S-FLEX SIDE PANELS

3mm side panels on the legs help create an optimal fit across varying body shapes and improve the ease of getting into the suit.

NEOPRENE BUOYANCY & FLEXIBILITY

When it comes to a swimming wetsuit, two factors really matter: Flexibility and Buoyancy. Thinner neoprene is more flexible, while thicker neoprene will provide more buoyancy.

Blueseventy wetsuits are strategically designed to offer the most flexibility where you need it, such as the arms, shoulders and upper back area. We use thin, 1.5mm - 2mm neoprene in these areas to offer complete freedom of movement throughout your entire stroke.

Thicker neoprene is placed in areas that typically tend to sink for swimmers, and where flexibility is not key. You'll find 4mm - 5mm neoprene in the chest, hips, and upper legs to enhance your swim form to be as efficient and streamlined as possible.

If you have to swim in cold water this is the wetsuit for you

Water in the lakes around Mont Tremblant can be around 15-16 degrees. This wet suit kept me very comfortable while not feeling restricted or weighed down. The buoyancy was in all the right places. I really only felt the weight once I got out of the water. I also used a thermal cap and booties on the coldest swims.

Quality product

I use the thermal wet suit when open water swimming in Portugal especially in December and January when the water temp is around 16 degrees. Once you get going this suit keeps you nice and warm (recommend gloves and booties for the really cold). The liner of the suit makes it feel slightly heavier than a normal wetsuit but the swimming experience is great. Goes on and comes off easily
