Find out more about Energy Chews
What Are Energy Chews?
Sports energy chews are small, carb-filled snacks that provide fast-acting energy during running, cycling, or weightlifting workouts. They’re convenient, portable, and light on the stomach, providing simple, digestible energy. They have a solid texture, meaning they’re mess-free and straightforward to use during a workout.
How to Use Marathon Chews During Training?
OTE Sports energy chews provide fast-acting carbohydrates to restore the body’s energy reserves, making them a key component for successful marathon training. They can be used both before and during runs to optimise performance and prolong endurance.
Before training, we recommend taking an energy chew 15 to 30 minutes before a run. Easily digestible, our chews are perfect for topping up the body’s carb levels without lying heavily on the stomach. During training, chews can be taken roughly every 30 minutes for runs over 1 hour in length.
How Many Energy Chews Should You Eat?
The best thing about OTE energy chews is that they are perfectly portioned. We recommended eating one per workout, either as a single portion or broken up into chunks to spread the energy supply throughout your session.
