TriYAS celebrates 13 years in 2023.
It is the region’s only day into night triathlon festival held annually on Yas Marina Circuit.
TriYAS is open to participants with the emphasis on setting personal targets and achieving them whether you are a first timer or a seasoned veteran.
Swim in the Yas Marina, transition in the Formula 1 Pit Lane, cycle on the 5km track and run through the Yas Marina as you achieve your goal. TriYAS is a true community race and is a guaranteed fun day out for the whole family.
The TriKIDS and Junior Triathlon participants will start the day at 8:00am as the sun rises over Yas Island, followed by the SuperSprint contest at 9:15am and then the Mixed Relay at 10:00am.
The Triathlon Mixed Relay returns in 2023, where teams of two women and two men, battle it out in a truncated relay version of the individual race. Each athlete has to swim for 250m, cycle for 5.3km (1 lap) and run for 1.25km before tapping the hand of their teammate to pass the relay. Fast and furious racing with a set order – female, male, female, male with the switch over at the top of the swim ramp.
Stand Up Paddling returns in 2023 and moves to 11am on the inconic Yas Marina.
Roller Skating opens the afternoon events with the option of either 20km or 10km skating competitions.
The Olympic Triathlon at 3:00pm and the Sprint Triathlon at 4:00pm.
We finish off the schedule of events with the ever-popular Sprint Duathlon with Individual and Relay Team options at 6:15pm.
Wednesday 22nd February
Race Pack collection at TrainYAS between 6pm and 9pm.

Friday 24th February
Race Pack collection with option of bike check in/racking for the junior events and super sprint from 4pm–7pm @ Yas Marina Circuit.
Saturday 25th February
Race Day Race Pack Collection and bike check in/racking from 6:30am to 7:40am until 20 minutes prior to the contest you have entered and then from 1pm to 6pm for afternoon events.
