Participants in the junior contest will be grouped based on gender. Those in the Men and Women races will be grouped based on previous results. All race results are calculated based on the first rider across the line.

Community XC racing returns to the UAE! Welcome to the XC5 set of UAE National MTB races! These are the UAE MTB Community organised races, supported by SuperSports, Oakley and UAEMTB with UAE Cycle Federation to provide all the regulation and safety. This season 2025/2-26 we have 5 races with progressive courses which started at Hatta Wadi Hub, moving on to Fujairah Adventure Park, Dubai Mushrif Park with the Final at Showka! All courses are intermediate level and flowy tracks for everyone to enjoy - and we will be publishing the courses and organising pre-ride visits a few weeks before each race so everyone has plenty of time to pratice on each course.

For Race 2 we are at the fantastic Fujairah Adventures Park on one of the most fun and special XC courses in the whole UAE! Singletrack start with a climb over the view of the lake, the hyperspace tunnel, tall climb and the super fast flowy descent to the finish ramps! No-where else has so many fun and flowy features packed into the loop!

This time there is a twist with starting in the Garden City of Al Ain and finishing in the capital Abu Dhabi, taking riders through a challenging 150km route.

One of the region’s most anticipated community cycling events, the 2025 edition will feature once again a massive AED 2,000,000 prize pool. But it gets even better, as the number of awards has been increased to total of 364!

The 2025 edition will see participants start in different speed groups. The first group is dedicated to elite men, women, and teams. The remaining participants will be split based on their average speed and set off accordingly.

Participation in this race is exclusively for UAE nationality.
Participants must be 19 years of age or older.
The bicycle must weigh no less than 6.8 kilograms.

This challenge is designed for cyclist who are eager to push their limits while immersing themselves in the natural beauty and rugged terrain of one of the most scenic regions in the world.

The Wadi Dayqah Challenge is not about competition, but about personal achievement and self-discovery. Riders will traverse winding mountain paths, explore dramatic valleys, and experience the thrill of conquering steep climbs and descents, all while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow cyclist. Whether you're seasoned cyclist or an adventurer, this challenge offers an opportunity to test your endurance in a truly unique environment.

The Wadi Dayqah Challenge provides two distinct routes, catering to both seasoned cyclists and those seeking a more accessible, yet equally thrilling experience.

• 240 km Challenge: Designed for experienced cyclists, this route covers the full span of the Al Hajar mountain range, incorporating demanding climbs, challenging descents, and breathtaking views.
• 140 km Challenge: This slightly shorter but still challenging route offers participants a chance to experience the beauty and difficulty of the Al Hajar mountains, with a route that's both accessible for intermidiate cyclists and rewarding for those new to long-distance riding.

Whether a rider chooses the 240 km or 140 km route, they will face both physical and mental challenges that will test their limits and create lasting memories.

Route:

240 km route with 2300m of vertical gains is very diverse and combines all needs for road cyclists: starting at the sea level in Muscat, steady as well as rolling sections with a few punchy climbs, highest point at ~400m at the far corner of Arqi loop, return point at the Wadi Dayqa Dam, famous Quriyat old road climb with 240m elevation gain and more including a quality tarmac surface all throughout.

making it a mid-range challenge ideal for both competitive and recreational cyclists.
Elevation Gain: Riders will climb a total of 1,163 meters, which suggests a hilly and potentially mountainous route—perfect for testing climbing legs!
Elevation Loss: The descent totals 607 meters, indicating that the course finishes at a higher elevation than it starts—likely ending in the scenic highlands around Khorfakkan.
